When I purchased this book I don't recall reading anywhere that this book was rated Youth/Juvenille Fiction. I paid way too much for a book that was mildly entertaining at best. I will certainly be more careful in the future when I order a book.
Great Book September 28, 2008 Elizabeth Euer (O Fallon, Missouri) This book was very easy to read and made quite an impact. I would recomend this book to anyone who wants to make a difference in a dogs life.
Word: A Real Dog Locked in A Shelter September 16, 2008 J. McNutt This is an awesome book. I read in one afternoon. It is sad but has a wonderful ending. This goes to show how accidents happen to our animals when there are no witnesses to the truth. The judicial system robbed this dog of many years by having to be caged while they "processed". God Bless all of those who haved loved and cared for Word.
Word: A Real Dog Locked in a Shelter Cage for Eight Years Until..... September 13, 2008 Shirley A. Hudleson This is a wonderful book. It really is geared toward young readers, but I enjoyed it as an adult. A true testament to the Love and loyalty of a wonderful dog named "Word".
Read it in one sitting. To short August 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't realize it was a kid book and even then I was disappointed. They jump from when he was a puppy to when he was 8 in one page. It should have talked about what his owner went thru trying to get him back. They skipped alot like his owner didn't care. He did .
