| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Babble Balls are interactive toys that talk or make exciting animal sounds when touched. The improved technology is so sensitive it can be triggered by a pet breathing on it, or just by the vibration of a pet walking past it. When play is finished, the Babble Ball turns off automatically and waits to be touched again. Pets think it's actually alive! SOLD INDIVIDUALLY. The random phrases produced are "Oh, nice doggie!", "Grrrrrr!", "Oh, you got me!", "Rock N? Roll big doggie!", "Come here!" and "Ouch! Don?t do that!". As an added bonus it also produces an occasional fart!

I wish I would have bought 2 October 21, 2008 A. Cooper (SC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this toy. My only regret is not buying 2- one for each of my labs. They fight over it. I and my dogs have gotten more entertainment from this toy. When they first got it- my cheeks hurt from laughing at thier obvious curiousity and responses to the phrases. As for the other posts about it being plastic- my dogs don't seem to mind and its holding up to both of them playing with it. As for it being annoying- well it does say that. So put it up when your annoyed. Trust me your dogs will have hours of fun with it. I am going to order another and 2 for my friends.
Never played with it March 26, 2008 Queen Sharon (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My dog never played with this toy. I thought she would like it because she loves the cuz and tore apart my mouse doll that sings. I think the fact it's hard plastic makes it unappealing. Also like other reviewers said it doesn't shut up. Even with the slightest movement it talks.
Big dog mom February 1, 2008 Diane L. Scheele 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This yellow babble ball is my Newfie's favorite toy. He never tires of it and is fascinated by the phrases and sounds that come out of it. After he eats he immediately looks for it so he can roll it around with his huge paws. He is not afraid of noises (he even loves to be blow-dried), so that is not an issue for us. I will say that my Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mix is not interested in this toy at all. But it's a joy to watch my Newf play with the Babble Ball. Give it a try.
Does what it says, but it's very annoying. December 2, 2007 J. Price (Kent, WA) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
Like the title says, it's pretty annoying. I think this is a great gift for someone else - not something to buy for your own dog. My little dog was frightened of it, and my bigger dog didn't show any interest in it. It's made of very hard plastic. Makes an ideal throwing weapon.
