2 out of 5 stars BEWARE: This vendor's product is not approved for use in the USA by the EPA   December 28, 2008
kupraje (Atlanta, GA)
After hearing that "counterfeit" Frontline Plus is being marketed on the web, I received my order from SoLaPets. I then did a Google search, and the EPA website showed pictures of counterfeit/not approved in USA product which matched the product that I got from SoLaPets. After contacting SoLaPets, I got a reply from Tim that said: "What you received is Genuine Real Frontline Plus Flea Medication manufactured by Merial in France. The EPA Likes to throw that "Counterfeit" word around, but the fact that many people sell Frontline Plus that's manufactured for sale in Australia or other countries doesn't make it Counterfeit. It just makes it "Not EPA Approved". But it's the same Frontline Plus, manufactured in the same plant, and it's Real, Not Counterfeit."
I then contacted Merial the manufacturer of Frontline Plus and was told that Frontline Plus product manufactured for one country (Like Australia)is not exactly the same as Frontline Plus product manufactured for another country (Like the USA). The reason being is that the type of fleas, insects, etc. varies from one country to another, so they vary their formulas accordingly.
Tim at SoLaPets did agree to refund my money if I sent the product back. However, since Merial told me that if I sent the product to them, they would send me replacement product, I sent it to them.
I don't know enough about bugs varying from one country to another. All I know is that I'll pay a few bucks more for product manufactured for the USA so that I can rest assured that the product I put on my pet won't harm it, AND it is going to work most effectively.

5 out of 5 stars Frontline Plus money-saver   November 2, 2008
Ebenezer (Bainbridge, NY USA)
I wish I'd known about this company years ago...I could have saved a bundle by not buying Frontline at the vet clinic where it's currently priced at $15 per dose. The pipette makes it easier to get the liquid right to my dog's skin. And, of course, the product kills fleas.

I have been doing this for a couple of years with my animals. I like your idea with the vial and pipette..a very good idea and a good way to save money
