5 out of 5 stars The BEST toy ever!   January 6, 2009
Elisabeth D. Briggs (NY)
My dog is a year old and she not only loves this toy, she cries when she plays with it! She loves to hide the squirrels all over the house. I didn't even need to show her what to do, being a tarrier mix she loves to find things and take things apart. This toy is a great idea and I'm so glad i found it. I would however recommend getting the jumbo size toy if you have a large dog. My girl is only 20 pounds and i wish i had gotten the jumbo size toy.

1 out of 5 stars Cute but destroyed in 6 hours by 5 mini schnauzers   December 25, 2008
J. Clementi (Bloomfield, NJ USA)
Fuzzy hair bitten off, legs and squeeker removed from each squirrel. They're dead, toy is no fun anymore. Not tough enough for mini schnauzers.

Maybe good for a tea-cut sized dog.

5 out of 5 stars Fun for prey driven dogs.   December 23, 2008
G. Lopez (California)
My two terriers have so much fun with this toy. I have to be part of the game- make it seems like the squirrels are moving around- the dogs love it! The squeakies inside the squirrel capture their attention and their prey drive kicks into high gear. I'm sure the squirrels will "die" eventually, but luckily they have replacement squirrel packs available as well.

2 out of 5 stars Not that durable   December 21, 2008
J. Timmerman (st. paul, mn)
The "tree" has a plastic disk in the bottom, between 2 layers of fabric. My westie became obsessed with chewing the plastic and eventually chewed right through the fabric and would have eaten pieces of the plastic had I not taken it away. I ended up ripping out the inner layer of fabric and the trunk has been ok since. The squirrels are not that durable. One's squeaker was silenced while my dog was trying to get it out of the tree. Two of the squirrels are starting to come apart already and will need some mending. All that being said, it's pretty cute to watch her with the tiny squirrels. So, provided you don't mind making a few modifications if needed and making minor repairs to the squirrels this is a pretty good toy.

5 out of 5 stars Great for "busy" dogs!!   November 22, 2008
Tarra
Fantastic toy! We've got terrier/maltese/lasa dogs they LOVE these hide-a-toys. It keeps busy/active dogs entertained - getting the squirrels out is great fun, then once out the squirrels squeak which makes the pups even more happy. Highly recommend these toys!
